HOW CAN I HELP?
There are several ways you can help send a young musician or singer to a summer music camp. We gladly accept checks, but for some of you, writing a check, addressing an envelope, and locating a stamp is too time consuming or just flat-out "old school." There are lots of other ways you can help us help young musicians. Take a look below!
Arrowbear Music Associates is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization. Donations may be tax deductible, but you should consult your tax advisor for details.

Employee Deductions
Many employers allow their employees to sign up for payroll deductions that benefit an approved charity. Employers such as Allstate, Bank of America, and Boeing often partner with companies who help them with their employee donation programs. Employers may partner with Benevity, Network for Good, Your Cause, CyberGrants, or EasyMatch. We are already registered with all of these programs.
Check with your employer to see if you can arrange for a monthly automatic deduction. We are willing to fill out any necessary paperwork to register with your employer.
Our organization's EIN is 95-3253693.
Matching Grants
Many companies offer matching grant programs that will match your donation to an approved charity. We've received matching grants from Boeing, Bank of America, Northrop Grumman, Allstate, Microsoft, Disney, and Google. Often these companies partner with other companies who actually administer the matching grant program for them. Our organization is already registered with Benevity, Network for Good, Your Cause, Cybergrants, Schwab Charitable, United Way, and EasyMatch.
Check with your employer to see if they have a matching grant program. We are willing to fill out any necessary paperwork to register with your employer.
Our organization's EIN is 95-3253693.

Facebook offers an option for users to set up a fundraising page to support a nonprofit organization. Some people ask their friends and family to give to a charity rather than purchasing a gift for a birthday, anniversary, or other milestone event.
Facebook collects the donations and sends them to Network for Good at the end of each month. Network for Good deposits the donations electronically into Arrowbear Music Associates' checking account.

Music Lessons for
Young Musicians through
Long Beach Gives
September 22, 2022
We are excited to share with you that Arrowbear Music Associates was selected as one of just over 200 non-profits to participate in Long Beach Gives on September 22. What does that mean? It means that many more alumni and supporters of music education will have the opportunity to donate to help young Long Beach musicians receive private music lessons during the school year. We raised $2,307.32 this year for private lessons.
Our Scholarship Committee has noted how many of the young musicians who apply for a scholarship do not have the benefit of private music lessons. Their families just can’t afford the expense of weekly lessons that cost anywhere from $25 to $50 each. We’ve decided to try to help meet this need.
We are partnering with the music teachers of Long Beach Unified to identify young musicians who would flourish musically with the support of private lessons. We are currently providing private lessons for one student at each of the district’s Middle and K-8 Schools. Nineteen young musicians are participating for the Fall Semester 2022.
Giving Tuesday
Giving Tuesday is a global generosity movement that emphasizes opportunities to give back to communities and worthy causes. It was created in 2012 as a simple idea: a day that encourages people to do good. It has grown into a global movement that inspires millions of people to give, collaborate, and celebrate generosity.
Arrowbear Music Associates participated
this year on November 29, 2022.
We raised $1,121 for summer music camp scholarships
thanks to the generosity of our donors.
